The Dreamer..

The Dreamer…… With the dark blanket Of the starless night. Amidst the howling loneliness he rides The shining armored knight. Without the calming moonlight Filling the echoing woods; not alone He moves on the ways wrong or right Wherever he goes at least they are his own. As he gallops on his black beauty Hope still flowing silver in his veins. The phoenix races with the darkness fretting With his fiery appendages leaving no dark stains. There comes a heavenly bellow- Moon dust in your lungs Stars in your eyes You are the child of the cosmos The ruler of the skies… Since most of my friends to whom I read this poem didn’t understand it after I read it to them😭 (with a dramatic sigh) I am also writing an explanation to this poem. Para 1: The dark and starless night symbolizes hopelessness. ‘Howling loneliness’ here says that solitude isn’t completely enjoyed by the knight but still he is comfortable with it. The knight is armored means...

BE YOU..

Have you ever wondered why do people change forever? When do people change? Well,  sometimes it’s not the people who change but the mask that falls off . More or less we all know this theory. Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation. But still they go on, on the trails laid by others. A very few people have the courage to give up the beaten track and choose a way new, wild, a way of their own. These people may have a hard time but are the one who reach the pinnacle. Even if they fail at least they had been honest with themselves and been ‘the unique’ if not ‘the best.’ How many of us are faking the facade? How many of us are pretending to be something we’re not? Even better, how many of us will have the courage to be ourselves regardless of what others think. So friends, listen to the music you like and not the one which is trending, read the book of the genre you adore and not the...

Masks..

Masks.... This world so big... so wild... opportunities but hurdles hundreds every mile. People good, bad, cruel and kind... How many have their true sides?!? The stages of life the stages of ones hide.. crying baby innocent as a lamb. The clock's tickin' the bloke is now young! Alas! The lamb's gone, the bloke has many sides. You never know  when things blow. whom to trust whom to leave and let their memories rust. So, just be  Alert! on the waves you row Because,  even a  white  rose, has a  Black  shadow...

Carpe diem...

‘Carpe diem simul’ means strive through the day together…. WOW. Finally I am making a blog of my own. Yep. Even I can’t believe it. Few days ago, I watched a movie ‘ Dead poet’s society.’ It’s from this wonderful film I came forward the Latin aphorism “carpe diem” which means ‘strive through the day’. The film’s plot is that of 1956 of Welton Academy, an all-boys elite prep school. In the 1989 motion pictures, the English teacher John Keating, played by Robin Williams, famously says: "Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary." Later, this line was voted as the 95th greatest movie quote by the American Film Institute. I got the recommendation for the film and I too highly recommend it. Well, I googled the aphorism ‘carpe diem’ and found that it is taken from the book 1 of the Roman poet Horace's work Odes (23 BC). The complete English translation text goes this way: Ask not ('tis forbidden knowledge), what our destined term of years,...
